London, September 10th 2018 – Challenge Advisory has invited Manu Pillai – Co-Founder & President of WaterBit Inc. to be a speaker at AG 4.0 in San Francisco from 14-15 November 2018.
Manu will be panellist on the ‘ROI in Precision Agriculture’ stream, where topics to be covered will centre on the biggest factor that is making growers hesitant of investing in expensive new technologies: whether this investment is paying back or not. Also, there will be discussions on the predictions and trends for agtech funding, and how to quantify the ROI. Moreover, the experts will analyse IoT benefits to maximize ROI as well as to help farmers decide when to start implementing agtech.
Mr. Pillai is Co-Founder and President of WaterBit Inc., and currently drives revenues for the company. Over the 25 years prior to WaterBit, Manu worked in consumer, industrial and telco-grade electronic systems and software from design to deployment for organizations including Mitsubishi, Fujitsu and Maxtor. He has led or been a key team member in the definition, development and manufacturing of over 100 products to the global market. Manu has a BE(EE) from University College, Dublin, Ireland and an MBA from Santa Clara University, California.
