Augmate will be ending their token sale after a successful six months that saw many milestones reached for the company.
Augmate’s MATE™ token began in December 2017, creating a token that allowed anyone to participate in the rise of a global ecosystem of human and device connectivity, starting with the enterprise and quickly expanding to the consumer space. Along their journey, Augmate became the first ICO to feature on Crowdfunder – a campaign crowdfunding site. This offered full transparency and legitimacy to their token, in a rough period of regulations and scams within initial coin offerings. Augmate also made the decision to offer a security token rather than a utility token, ensuring that the company attracted investors that believed in the company and its future.
Challenge Advisory has worked closely with Augmate throughout their ICO campaign in many sectors. A partnership was formed to work on the marketing of their ICO, growing their audience and delivering value propositions through targeted social media campaigns and tailored marketing strategies. We also worked on sourcing and providing industry leading talent to help their next phase of growth, by successfully acquiring Dave Evans as their new CTO.
Moving forward, it will be exciting to see Augmate’s continued growth as they shift their focus onto their WEM (Wearable Environment Manager) platform. They will also be working with a group in Mexico to expand the curriculum around blockchain and distributed ledger, and several projects in India geared towards more smart connected devices, within the smart cities environment. Watch this space!
